is windows7 a good operating system ?

i am a beginner ,does  windows 7 have a word processing program on it if not how much to buy ?

Personally, I like Win 7 better. It does not come with MS Word. You'll need to buy Windows Office to get it. The cheapest one is the Office Home & Student, which costs less than $200.
