I collect old crayons and have the kids "peel" them (if they haven't already). I take the broken pieces and place them in cupcake liners and melt them in a 200 degree oven (or less) until they have melted enough to stick but not turn into a big brown mess (about 10 minutes) - ovens vary keep an eye on them. Once they cool you can peel them out of the paper and you have nice "chunk" crayons. The kids like them different colors but you can keep them as single colors. This will also work with candy molds (like making shaped soaps). Have fun
