Is she an outside cat? If so, you may want to check her for bites from other cats that have gotten infected. She may need some topical ointment or antibiotic. Also, it could be from her getting under cars and getting oil or grease on her causing the patches. Definitely look closer at the patches and if it is a skin problem get her to a veterinarian.
